Artist Claire Goodman

I have always enjoyed being creative from a very young age. But my desire to paint came after graduating from art college in 1995 with a qualification in 3D design.

I started because I found the process very therapeutic and extremely rewarding. I was given the confidence from friends and family to start showing my work and have enjoyed doing this ever since.

I get my inspiration from emotional and visual stimulation. I also focus a lot on the latest fashion trends and draw alot of inspiration from colour.

The majority of my paintings are contemporary abstract pieces and I use acrylics on box canvas but have, also, begun experimenting in other media such as textured paints and oil pastels.
