I am an art photographer based in Ashtead, Surrey. I specialise in landscape, travel and wildlife photography, although I do also enjoy doing portraits and weddings.
My artistic vision is driven by the desire to create beauty in a broken world. I believe that photography enables us to freeze a moment and give it a kind of immortality, and that the aspiration of the photographer-as-artist is not only to celebrate the obvious beauty of the world, but also to discover the unusual in the ordinary and even to create a new way of seeing.
In my photography I look for an angle that will bring a poetic quality to the composition; a frame that is able to capture something of the beauty, sublimity, absurdity and humour of existence.
I am a founding member of The Arts Collaboration (a Surrey-based art group) and my work has been exhibited in Surrey, London and Cheshire.
