I became intrested in painting wildlife, especially after looking at the work of Peter Scott. I've tried different media but found I can achieve more movement in my work with pastels. I try to illustrate the beauty of birds in flight mainly but paint birds in different poses. I take my subjects to paint from my own sketchbook as well as photographs.
