Artist Alexandr Gudkov

Alexander Gudkov graduated from the Stroganov Institute in 1985, while constantly taught and perfected himself in painting and drawing. In the early '90s he opened the way to the intuitive painting and immediately introduced this new technique into all his courses. Since 1994 he is a member of the Creative Union of Russian Artists, participating in many permanent exhibitions. Starting from the 2000s Alexander exhibits only intuitive paintings, as it is the exclusive genre, developed and matured by him personally, as noted in the Encyclopedia Who is Who in Russia in 2008. Alexander teaches the art of painting and drawing from scratch and his students start showing remarkable results in a very short time. Currently living and working in Moscow, teaching painting and drawing in the Academic School of Design (at Polianka) for over 10 years.
