Artist Alison Bowman

Having painted all my life I am mainly self taught with the added benefit of O Level Art and evening classes. I work in watercolour, oils, acrylics, chalks and pastels and have just started experimenting with quick drying oils. Painting was generally for pleasure until I moved to Devon and started showing at galleries in Totnes and Torquay. I have sold throughout the UK and have also had success in America and Germany. I still find much pleasure in painting and particularly love wildlife. Living close to the award winning Paignton Zoo means I am able to study the animals first hand and spend many happy hours doing so.
