Artist Alison Buck

I’m a figurative and landscape artist and have exhibited and sold paintings in various styles throughout my career. I also work as a commercial graphic designer, running a design studio and producing graphics and artwork for corporate clients, book covers and illustrations. Over the years my devotional works (religious icons painted in contemporary and traditional eastern orthodox style) have led to commissions from private individuals and religious organisations, with examples being exhibited at Westminster Cathedral. I’m currently working on larger canvases, focussing on the natural world and trying to capture the transforming effects of light and movement within landscapes.
