Artist Andrea Carroll

Ever since I was young I was always very active with my creative skills, especially with painting and drawing. I was always given high marks and grades though infant school up to college due to the originality to my work and how my hands and eyes perceived the world around me. I finally studied art at college, gaining an A in fine art and B in 3D Design. Art took a back seat in my life for a while as I travelled and got into the habit of the 9 to 5 lifestyle which many of us fall into. 2 years ago the world of art came back into my life through photography, documenting the world of the unseen, to preserve the beauty of the derelict and forgotten and for others to see what I see. With that I also got back into painting and drawing but my main artistic media is photography. My paintings/ drawings are of mixed genre really. From abstracts to illustrative images. What I see in my head and the world around me, I paint, draw or photograph.
