Artist Andrew Baker

Andrew Baker is a digital artist and photographer with an eye for the unconventional. Formerly an airbrush artist and illustrator he turned to digital media because of its versatility and immediacy. His aim with photography is to depict the diversity of form found in the miracle of creation – but to also use this as a starting point for what can be done digitally to create an image. His studies of nature then are true to form but may have been digitally enhanced either obviously or not so and to seamlessly blend these with images that have no basis in reality. Or as he puts it ~ created out of the ether with 0’s and 1’s ~ essentially blending images from the outer world with images from the inner.
