 Pictures made of stone are an astonishing and relatively modern style of painting. The chipped stone provides the effect of velvetiness and volume, which is impossible to achieve by using oil or water color, for instance. Different natural ornamental or semi-precious stones are ground into chips and are applied layer by layer on a wooden or stone board. The results are excellent paintings ranging in size from miniature to large one-meter works. Nature, landscapes, animals and portraits – all of these genres are mastered by our painters and may include custom-made orders based on photographs provided by customers.
