Artist Anna Blamire

My art reflects my interest in the natural environment and wildlife. I create linoleum prints, individually hand coloured and hand printed. The prints evoke vintage book illustrations, using bold lines and bright colour palettes. I studied at the University of Nottingham where I gained a BA in Architecture in 2009. After graduating I started working as an architectural assistant, designing buildings and producing technical drawings; an experience that has enhanced my eye for detail and strengthened my appreciation for design in all its forms.
