A self taught artist. Pieces in existence from the mid 90s, selling my first commercial pieces in 1999 and having sold large abstract equestrian canvas paintings and exhibited in Galleries in Nottingham, the South West and locally here in the Chilterns. With commissions accepted a number have sold and are currently being completed, subject matter varies and include scenes and landmarks. My preference is large pieces and have completed a number of canvas paintings that are several meters in height/width. The items here are commercially sized!
Sculpture and ceramic design pieces are also constantly being created.
Topics that have dominated my work include:
**African tribes people, their jewelery, art and existence, large sculptures in existence from the mid 90s of these with oil paintings and portraits and a collection of contemporary designs and sculptures waiting to be commissioned.
**Also equestrian scenes, having worked on event yards and an early appreciation of Henry Moore, Franz Marc and Elizabeth Frink, sculpture, action shots and abstract topics as well as a massive collection of working drawings and sketches of 'about the yard'.
**Scenes and landmarks to include a number of the worlds bridges, scenes of the alps and winter sports as well as recent works of the Thames and areas of the Chilterns and Thames Valley, Henley, the regatta, festival.
**Architecture is also an interest and I have a number of study paintings of National Trust properties, residential properties and towns scenes from around the UK and Europe. Commissions accepted for Oil Paintings and sketches of residential properties.
**Nudes, with some quite large sculptures planned and a number of prints and designs.
All commissions are supplied with a complete portfolio. And any such interest from this site should be directed through 'artgallery'. Corporate work and design work also completed, with a number of promotional campaigns running at the moment.
