Tony studied Zoology at Hull University and then not wishing to be impoverished became a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton. He took up painting as a leisure activity in 1991 and has been exhibiting since 1995.
Using Watercolour and Acrylic Tony likes the subject matter of his paintings to be recognisable but to provide the observer with a new perspective on the subject though the use of cartoon elements and distortion of colour or style.
Living in Hampshire his subjects often reflect the people, local towns and countryside.
