Exhibiting drawings, paintings and prints in the UK, Europe and USA over the past five years. My work is mostly figurative with influences from Animation between the 30's - 70's, 20th century poster design, post impressionist, expressionist, cubist and modern painting and contemporary illustration and urban art. A recent love of Picasso and cubism has developed after visits to exhibitions in Barcelona, London and Liverpool which has taken my painting in a more freely expressive route in terms of form and mark making. With a usually bold palette and confident brushwork I try to give my paintings a playful and energetic atmosphere.
