 After graduating with a BA hons in Fine Art in 2006 I went on to complete a Masters Degree in Fine Art (painting). I began teaching in September 2008 on a part-time basis. I paint prodominantly in oils and my work is mainly derived from the landscape which is a constant source of inspiration. I work images to the point of abstraction and aim to purge them of all unnecessary iconography and narrative so that they become independent of the need for external reference points, thus trying to emulate the priveleged position of Music.
