My name is Breeze Kelly Born in 1991 I quickly developed an interest in art which evolved into a fascination and love for the subject. My artistic work at school was outstanding- where I gained a GCSE grade B in art - I am currently at college and my predicted grade is a distinction in my art and design National Diploma course. Whilst at college I entered the Connexions Buckinghamshire Artxhibit competition and won 1st prize which led to my artwork being displayed in One of Buckinghamshire’s art galleries. As I am currently 18 I have not gained any higher grades from university but I have been offered a definite place from my local university when I have finished my college course. I am certain that art and design is the career I wish to pursue into.My favourite artistic movement is realism. I do not have a preferred media I am captivated about working with many different media such as paint, wood, clay and metal as each presents a different experience and challenge that my creativity is required to master. Some of my favourite artists and include sculpture artist Ron Mueck , Renaissance Artist Michelangelo and textile designer William Morris. I have chosen to sell my paintings because of two reasons the first of which is to bring inspiration and animation into the homes or place of work for others by using my passion for art. The second reason is that because I am just a student I do not earn much money and I am hoping that by selling my creations it will enlighten others and help towards everyday costs. The materials I have used to create this painting are oil on canvas. I have tried to give the image energy with the eagle in flight but also a sense of peace by using the blue tones in the sky and reflection in the water I think the overall feeling of this painting is harmonious and leaves the viewer feeling at one with nature.
