Artist Brigitte Hayden

I am educated to degree and Masters Degree level in Psychology and Health Sciences and I am a trained teacher. In the past I have worked as an RAF Officer, Podiatrist and lecturer. I paint in watercolour and my loose, colourful style of painting has slowly evolved. I often paint from photographs and use them as an inspiration for my paintings. I aim to capture a scene with atmosphere and mood. I have sold paintings at local and national exhibitions (including the Patchings Festival, Thoresby Art Gallery Open Exhibition and the St Gemmas Hospice Open Art Exhibition). I have sold paintings in the UK, Europe and USA. I sell Orkney scenes through We Frame It, Kirkwall, Orkney.
