Catherine Creaney is a Northern Irish artist who has for many years explored the art of painting from detailed realism to pure abstraction. Her work is held in collections through out Ireland and the UK. She exhibits in the North and South of Ireland and is a regular contributor to the prestigious RUA Annual Exhibition of Irish Art held in Belfast each year.
Never liking to be pigeon-holed as an artist she has refused to choose between abstraction and realism. Her work moves beyond the boundaries many artists set themselves, and expresses creativity in many genres of painting. The Belfast Telegraph heralded her work “The Fallen Feather” a return to the craft of painting and Inside Ireland reviewed Catherine's work as "having a flair with a flair with more traditional or classic art styles"
