Artist Charlotte Farhan

I have studied Art, Design and Textiles and have qualifications in Art, Photography, Textiles and Drawing. As well as a diploma in Art History.
I have been fascinated with art and especially painting for as long as I can remember. I have lived between the London area and Paris as I am half French my entire life. I have always been immersed in the art scene and have visited art galleries, exhibitions and been to the places which have inspired the great painters I love and who have inspired me.
I have travelled to many parts of the world and have been particularly inspired by West Africa, the South of France, Jordan as well as many other beautiful places.
I decided to become a painter in 2006 as this is what I love to do and is what I feel I do best. Since 2006 I have travelled and done a lot of education towards this goal I have so much inspiration now and so many ideas for future work. This is only the beginning of what I hope is a long fulfilling passion of mine as a painter.
I have also had two paintings exhibited as part of a group show exhibition at a gallery in Southampton, Hampshire, called The Art House. As well as being asked to submit paintings and my portfolio to galleries in Chelsea, New York City. I am very ambitious and find inspiration in most parts of my life in which to express my world through painting.
