Artist Charlotte Louise Kirkham

Following a stint in Northern Ireland, where Charlotte Louise was a member of the Belfast Print Workshop she moved to Israel in order to study for her BFA at Bezalel Academy of Fine Art and Design, Israel, Charlotte Louise continued to learn with an initial focus on jewellery in the Mercau studio. After a stint working as a jeweller's assistant in Tel Aviv she returned to Europe, settling in England where she explored her love of painting. Exhibitions to date include "Imagination 2011", Tel Aviv, Israel, "Schwepps Design", 2010, Jerusalem, Israel, "Ashwell Artists", London, 2006. Charlotte Louise is keen on exploring a range of media, and her subject matter is normally taken from everyday life, inspired by the countries and cultures in which she has lived. Her most recent projects have included a "Key Series", "Tangled Footwear" and watercolours of city and country scenes. Exploring colours, textures and new media is always important for Charlotte Louise. Her work is in various private collections and she has also completed specialist commissions for private individuals, she also sells tattoo designs internationally and is awaiting the publication of her first commercial 'flash' set.
