Christine’s work is based on the theory of automatic drawing, letting the unconscious control the pen. She uses opposing colours so that the eye is drawn in and out of focus. Her art is a series of sinuous, flowing lines that intertwine and overlap to create depth and complexity. Sometimes the effect can be delicate and soft, sometimes frantic and intense.
Though Christine primarily works with acrylics, she incorporates other media such as wool, watercolours and ink to create texture and depth.
Christine has completed a degree in Fine art and Psychology and through her final art exam has sold many pieces of her work. She has exhibited in many public and private galleries and often produces work on commission.
