Colin Pearce
Photographer, born 1967
Lives and works in Walton on Thames, England.
His wide-ranging oeuvre uses Raw, unrefined elements to convey his need to understand his environment, our relationships and ultimately our death. Using an uncompromising array of mundane materials, from seed pods and discarded feathers to cloth, plastic and earth, Colin develops these paradoxes into powerful, conceptual works that can be figurative or Abstract in form.
He uses the juxtaposition of line and texture with a Surreal truth and sexuality to express hope, fear, longing, respect and the voyeur in us all.
