I have always been interested in art and design. But it has not been until recently that I have found the confidence to actually start selling my work.
Way back in primary school was when I first started producing drawings, these always stood out among the rest of the students. Through out secondary education I was pushed to develop my skills and explore new techniques and ideas. During college I started show learnt more new skills, such as photography, sculpture, print and fine art. But what I enjoyed most was creating small and large canvases using nothing more than different varieties of paint. After all this I decided to go to university, where my talents for abstract and minimal work really began to shine and develop. I now hold a degree in Interior Textiles and Surface Design.
With these years to develop and learn new skills I love to create pieces of art work using a selection of different paints. With these, I fill my canvas with different textures and various mark making.
I live in an area of Out Standing Natural Beauty in the heart of Devon, so there is no shortage of inspiration around me.
