 Painting. I am a keen painter and have recently completed a series of portrait paintings that were exhibited both in Brighton and Falmouth with commercial success. Printing. During my five years at the Regent’s I built up the printing resources for all key stages. In addition to screen printing, the students successfully worked on lino and wood cut printing projects. Ceramics. I have attended workshops both in the UK and Asia to learn more about teaching ceramics. I have also had the opportunity to learn extensively about Asian ceramics techniques whilst living in Thailand. Photography, I am a keen photographer and am currently completing a creative darkroom photography course at City College. From 1987 -1989 I attended the Colchester Film Workshop, learning darkroom techniques in addition to producing a series of photographic Artwork pieces. Sculpture I am a very confident sculptor and have produced high quality sculpture in metal, stone and wood, in addition to producing conceptual pieces at degree level. I have continued to sculpt since graduating, including creating kinaesthetic sculptures when I have been commissioned to create shop displays. During my time at the Regent’s, I initiated a concentrated focus of 3D activities, this included groups working on life size figurative sculptures in modroc, card and wooden framed cardboard sculptures.
