David Moore is a talented artist living and working in the village of Tattenhall which is in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Since studying Fine Art at the famous 'Gamble Institute' in St. Helens, Lancashire, David has always had a strong bias towards Painting, Photography and Sculpture.
Painting mainly with Oil and mixed media, David's pieces are often described as 'Atmospheric' 'Tactile' and even 'Moody' as he mainly uses dark tones of Burnt Umber to usually on a highly textured, top quality canvas. Each canvas is monogramed on the front, fully signed & dated on the rear and each has deep, painted sides and they are stapled on the back allowing each painting to be hung without any frames. Being passionate about art, Design and Photography David has produced many works to date but enjoys painting daily. Each painting may take many days to complete, to allow the layers of texture to dry fully before proceeding to the next layer, so working on a couple of pieces at a time and jumping from one to the other is common practice for David. All of David's paintings are original works of art - not prints. Each painting is done by hand, painting with care using high quality paints and mediums. |
