Artist David Sculthorpe

My name is Dave Sculthorpe, I started painting in school as part of my education and realised I had a passion for it. After I finished sixth form I kept up painting as a hobby and sold my artwork to family and friends as well as participating in many exhibitions. My paintings cover a huge range of different genres and styles. They draw inspiration from almost every movement that art has been through such as pop art, surrealism, realism and fauvism just to name a few examples. All my pictures are hand painted by me, onto canvas or board with mainly acrylic but also other mediums such as spray and metallic paints.
