Hi, My name is Dave and i am 35 years old. I am a plasterer by trade and have now been doing art work (Paintings,Sculptures and Photography) for about 21 years as a hobby. I attend college for an art and design course and have studied many books. My aim is to get my own website up and running so I can display all of my pieces for people to view. As you can imagine I have accumulated quite a few in 21 years. I have only very recently decided to sell my art work. The first piece I sold was at my local art gallery which holds an open exhibition each year, lots of different artists bring their work in hope the gallery will choose their pieces to hang for the public to view. I was very pleased that my art work was chosen and with the result of the gallery displaying my work I sold it within the first week. My second and third were commission pieces and my fourth and fifth pieces were sold at a charity event to help raise money for disabled children. My sixth piece was sold through this site which can still be viewed along side my other artwork for sale. At the moment I have some of my art work hanging in the local bars and I am also trying to organise my own exhibition. I hope that more people will enjoy my work as i think it is quite different to others.
