Artist David Swinnerton

I am an artist mainly in acrylics, I attended Walsall school of art. I am also a photographer of various subjects including wildlife, portraits weddings and landscape. I have been in photography since 1978 with film camera's both medium format and 35mm. I stopped for a while in the late 80's, then came back to photography in 2006 with the advent of digital camera had improved to pro standard. I moved from staffordshire, living in various places, now settled in Ross on Wye Herefordshire with my partner and son in 2003, I have had several Exhibitions of my work, I have also been invited to submit my work for display at the National Portrait Gallery in London last year although I didn't quite get hung their last year just missing on the final (final viewing was of 100 images for selection of 60 places) viewing out of some 6,800 entries. But have been invited to submit this year. My painting range from Portraits, Landscapes, Seascapes to Surreal, all my paintings are on canvas unless stated and are original one off,and I also except Commissioned work upon request and a deposit is usually required for new commissioned from new customers as per normal arrangement.
