I was born in South Africa and moved to the UK in 2000. I studied art as a subject at school and won the art prize in my final year. Torn between my love for animals and art, I chose to study Zoology at university thinking I would continue with my art as a hobby. Having left South Africa I find myself working in the financial industry, far removed from either of my dreams. Suppressed by having to conform to a lifestyle, simply to survive in todays society, I find my need to be creative even stronger. I am striving to find my own style through portraying my love of nature and design in my paintings. Due to time constraints I am a long way off from where I want to be but through continued practice and experimentations I will strive to get the images I am looking to achieve. Artgallery rating
