Born in 1966 in the UK, Adam is a self-taught artist working in a number of styles and genres. Her work is in private collections from Canada to Japan. She believes 'that our surroundings reflect and influence our lives, so artists can make a significant contribution to a better environment. I aim to create work which honours that.'
Ordained as a Buddhist nun in 1994 and given the name Ani Chudrun, Adam initials her work 'AC' as she credits her spiritual studies and meditation practices as her inspiration to paint.
Mick Brown, international author and journalist for the Telegraph Magazine: "The best art speaks to and from the heart, and this is what Chudrun's paintings do for me. These paintings are the product not just of art practice, but life practice.."
She has travelled widely, East and West, and says "time in my woodland yurt and visits to international galleries are also part of my pilgrimage."
