Since my first solo exhibition for the North-West Arts Council in Manchester, many years ago, I have been painting while living in the UK, Turkey and New Zealand.
My work is always varied, but favourite themes are re-interpretations of the old masters, Byzantine iconography, and more recently, dabbling in digital collage.
Working mainly in acrylics, sometimes mixed media, I have many artworks in private collections via local galleries, private exhibitions and commissions.
Recent series include the 'Gioconda' or Mona Lisa paintings, the 'American Folk' series, inspired by recent travels around the USA, and the 'Byzantine Glory' icon series, dating from, and inspired by 10 years living in the glorious city of Istanbul.
