I am a slightly self taught artist, and having achieved 100 percent in my course at GCSE, and being placed in the top ten students out of 9,763 applicants, I don't want to waste my talent which is why I enjoy producing pieces that I can sell. I have been studying Fine Art for four years, both at GCSE and A Level, and although very strongly encouraged to continue to study Fine Art at degree level, I feel that my artwork is better when it flows naturally, and when I am not pressurised into doing it, which I have been for the past four years. Finally being able to create artwork when and how much I want has both a positive effect on both me, and my artwork.
Instead of Fine Art, I am studying Business Management, as well as in depth Book Keeping and Accounts, which I believe will be best for both me, and my expressive and experimental art. I have a lot of other pieces that I have completed during my courses, called 'Expressions', which aims to investigate facial expressions/emotions and beliefs. I am having to force myself to part with these pieces, so they will hopefully be up and ready to buy very soon.
