Artist Emily Falconer

Hello! My name is Emily Falconer and I am a freelance illustrator living in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Since I can remember I have always loved to draw. I love all things creative and out there. Whether I'm out observing passers by or in my studio making a mess, I love what I do.

I studied BA Hons Illustration at the University of Derby and now freelancing in editorial and children's book illustration. I have been lucky enough to exhibit my work around the UK and now very excited to be able to offer my pieces online!

For my work I use mainly ink and stick, with the occasional use of masking fluid and bleach. My work is loose in style and fun, I love to produce simple but striking images. It's the simplicity of my work that allows me to play and experiment with mark making and texture.
