| I grew up in 60's / 70's London in a creative environment surrounded by music, art and photography and during my school holidays could be found in various darkrooms or studios assisting where I could.
I studied graphic design and typography and have always been fascinated by colours and shapes and the blank spaces created outside of those shapes.
I've been in the communications and visual arts industry all my working life and started taking my art seriously during the early 90's but really started developing my output a few years later when a couple of local galleries started selling my work after I was encouraged by a number of artists themselves.
I'm always experimenting so my work has different themes but essentially I would describe it as contemporary abstract. All my pieces are created by applying ink to paper in a number of ways.
I like the fact I can look at a piece and notice something I hadn't seen in it before. I like that surprise.
I hope you enjoy the work as much as I do.
