I live in Anderton, Cheshire with my husband, Michael and two very spoiled Siamese Cats.
After leaving school, where I was keen on art, life took over and art took a back seat until Christmas 2000 when Michael bought me a set of watercolours and some books. From then on art was a hobby and very much a spare time thing because of an otherwise very busy life, running a demanding business. I have worked in various media but often returned to watercolours, mostly landscapes, cottages and canals, many of which are now in a private collection in France.
More recently, having always been an animal lover, especially cats and horses, I now undertake commissions in Pastels, Pencil, Acrylics, Gouache and Oils as well as developing a series of pictures to exhibit demonstrating a range of mediums. I am a member of the Association of Animal Artists and an associate member of the Society of Feline Artists. I also donate my talent as an animal artist to charities such as The Blue Cross and The Anthony Nolan Trust where I produce a pet portrait for the winning bidder.
