My career in the arts began with a passion for drawing and working with clay. I studied for a B.A. Honours in three-dimensional design, specialising in ceramics As soon as I left college I set up my own studio and worked as an artist potter, using my drawing skills to decorate my pots. From there I decided I wanted to work with people and gained a Post graduate Certificate in Art Education and Art therapy. This enabled me to work with adults and children leading many exciting projects as a community artist and teacher both in England and Peru. I have taught a wide variety of skills, including painting, murals, silk painting, mosaics, and printmaking. During this time I have continued with my own painting, I enjoy painting outside in England and abroad, using acrylics watercolour pastels and inks.
