Artist Geraldine Paton

Having studied art at school, I then attended the University of Glasgow, eventually graduating with an MA in History of Fine Art. After many years teaching, including a period spent in Italy, I gave up work several years ago and now have the opportunity to concentrate on my painting. My first love is the human form, which provides endless inspiration. Most of my paintings are in pastel, a medium which I find particularly suits my style. I hope you enjoy my work.
