 My name is Gosia Marcinkowska. I graduated Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at graphic printing techniques, for intaglio printing corse. My main forte is creating prints or drawings using predominantly human forms. The human forms cause me to think about the variety of shapes ( fat / thin, long / short etc.). I enjoy expressing myself by use of colour and experiment with light - which hightens my imagination. From many techniques available, very often I choose intaglio printing. For me they have few advantages above all other. Preparing mold (die) I giving shape and main strength. Those form giving me multiply choise of colours. I don't have to limitate my self to only one composition of colours. My metal plates are a living things for me, it's constant process o creation (destruction), which any other technique can't capture. But I still will use other forms for quick coach of thoughts. My inspiration could be anything that captures my imagination, but mostly nature is start of everything. I love observe people passing by, or discover new places, feel ambient of a moment, that's giving me all I need.
