Hanan Hanafy studied art in her native Egypt and has used the colours and landscapes to produce her own paintings and sketches.
Hanan's artistic inspiration comes from her family's home in Egypt, a country steeped in artistic and cultural heritage:
"Egypt inspires different types of art depending on where you are, because each area is so individual and unique from any other part of Egypt. Places like Nubia and Luxor feel completely different to the bustling cities, like Cairo. The fields and countryside, the desert, the Nile - each place has a different atmosphere - different people wearing different styles of clothes, different surroundings and building styles - so this all inspires different types of art. The colours are so warm - there are browns and blues in the Nile and greens in the countryside. It's all just so inspiring!"
