I have always painted/created since an early age. I would call myself a self-taught, visionary artist, and my art, as my self is, is constantly changing, transforming and evolving.
I am interested in portraying and expressing the soul, the source, that which cannot necessarily be described easily or logically in words, as authentically as possible.
my main inspirations?: folk art, outsider art, indian art, chagall, rothko, frida kahlo, alex grey, children’s art, raw art, ‘untrained’ artists, caravaggio, klimt, rossetti, the full moon, the hours between 12-4 in the morning, folk who live fully and passionately, dreams, insights/ images arising from meditation, a blank canvas, red wine, big thick tubes of paint, sunshine, feelings, power, sexual energy/ potency, fear and fearlessness, time and timelessness, beauty, nature, people (they are so fascinating!) , the mind’s chaos and randomness… in fact what inspires me is not fixed and is in a constant state of organic flow.
