Life, loved ones and happiness, those are the things that most inspire my art. I rarely draw anything "inanimate" unless by request. I aim to breathe life into my drawings, capture personalities and really bring them to life. I draw with very high detail, almost photographically, but not quite, its always good to know its a piece of art, not a photograph. A great deal of time and focus is applied to each piece to ensure the tiniest of details is included. Each piece looks just as good up close and personal as it does viewed from a short distance. I use the very best materials available for each piece. My coloured pencil drawings are created with Prismacolour pencils, imported specially from the US. The graphite drawings are created using Derwent, Faber Castell and Pentel leads. I live in Yorkshire with my family. I am a member of the local Art Society here, and was very proud to join the Committee a few years ago, which means I am responsible for organizing the Exhibitions. In one such Exhibition I won "Special Recognition" with one of my pieces "Faded Black Alaskan Wolf" of which I am very proud, as a relatively new artist on the scene. I hope you enjoy my drawings every bit as much as I enjoy creating them.
