Hugh Henderson

In common with many artists exhibiting on this site I have no formal art education. I would not say that I am self taught however as I have had many influences from the artists of the great Marvel and DC comics to Rembrandt and John Singer Sargent. I have also attended numerous drawing and painting classes over the past five years in an attempt to improve my understanding of art and of course my painting and drawing technique. Fundamentally, I believe that all art works express that which cannot be expressed in words. I aspire to be a successful artist and I express that aspiration through my paintings and drawings. Every piece of art I produce moves me in some way. It is my sincere hope that they bring pleasure to you the viewer.
