Art for me is very much an emotional and creative outlet. I feel my work is very mood influenced and my inspiration comes from the most unlikely places. I find that i can approach my canvas and something just happens or feels right often with no prior planning.
I`m from a working class background with no formal art training which makes it quite difficult to explain how I first came to paint. I sort of stumbled into it is probably the best way of describing my introduction to painting. I paint mainly in my spare time at home in between my work as a climbing wall technician/ joiner and everyday life.
