Artist Ian Kiddley

Painting under the name of IanK, I am a pin-up, figurative and fantasy artist, who has developed a particular passion for painting large-scale wall art and formulating my own unique style of ink art.

Coming from an IT background in the Pharmaceutical, Engineering & Banking industries, I developed skills in computer graphic design and I have training in technical drawing. In January 2000 I decided to concentrate my time on developing my fine art techniques and expand on my illustration skills. Using a variety of media and materials, I like to experiment and paint with oils and acrylics (often together) on canvas, hardboard & glass; charcoal on canvas & paper; and Ink on paper.

Primarily a figurative painter, I am inspired by my fascination for the female form and the abnormal characteristics of comic book characters.
