 My paintings are bright, full of colour and expression. They include a bold use of textures, colours and a mix of materials (acrylic, inks and enamel paints). There's a deep complexity in the work, which at first sight appears quite straightforward.
Each painting is unique in it's random, free-flowing elements which manifest in the creative process and can transform the painting's direction in unexpected and inspiring ways.
Having worked as a graphic designer for 10 years, and before that, graduated from the Kent Institute of Art & Design with a degree in design, I felt it was about time I attempted to pursue my burning ambition to become an artist. And so my painterly obsession began with one painting leading to another.
