I have just completed my art foundation diploma at Central Saint Martins in London, and have gained a place on their BA (Hons) Fine Art degree. I am primarily a painter, and believe that work should always demonstrate skill and expertise- I am of the viewpoint that every piece of work I create should demonstrate the time and effort put into it in terms of how it is presented as a final piece. I am unpretentious, and don't want the viewer of my work to have to delve too deep to find a meaning to it. Art should be upfront, to the point and concise- the meaning of the piece shouldn't contradict what it looks like.
