Jago lives and works in south-west England, teaching creative writing and poetry, amongst other things.
He created his own style of decorative wall hangings, developing the processes and techniques over the past few years. He sources all materials for his work in Cornwall and from artisans around the South West. Wherever possible, he recycles material, especially glass. He is constantly experimenting with techniques and subjects.
Much of the work he currently produces has been commissioned for businesses (such as hotels and restaurants) wishing to convey a maritime theme or simply to reflect scenes from the coasts or moors where they are situated. He is currently exhibiting work in Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire.
Jago may be found on the beaches of Whitsand Bay – especially that of Portwrinkle – particularly after a storm.
