 James Maguire was born in London in 1980 and has been painting and creating art since a very young age. He studied fashion illustration at the London College of Fashion where he became fascinated with the feminine image. He loves to paint bawdy, glamorous and somewhat surreal images of women often with an over the top exaggerated appearance. He likes to create work that captivates the eye and creates a positive mood for the viewer and can brighten and bring life to its surroundings.
