I have painted all my life, and studied painting when i left school,gaining my B.A at Loughborough University and M.A at Bath Spa University. I was a scenic artist at BBC TV in London for many years, and currently work as a lecturer in Fine art.
Whilst living in the West country I was a Court Artist, working for the BBC and other News Media, providing sketches from court cases for TV and newspapers
I have exhibited in London, the West Country, and Portugal, and my work is in international collections.
Currently I am exhibiting at the Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham, until January 2011
In 2001 Trompe Loeil - Paintings and Techniques, by Jan Lee Johnson, was published by Guild of Master Crafstman.
