I have been painting since 2002 but always took an interest in art at school. I always enjoy working within a group of other students and artists it seems to bring the best out in me. I am a member of a local art group but generally tend to paint more from home nowadays.
I love sunrise and sunsets. I love the colors in a evening sky, the reds and oranges. Warm colours i find i can melt away into. There is such a feeling of calm when melting away with a sunset. I love calm which i generally try to capture in my artwork.
I get my artwork ideas from my photos and the feelings i feel when absorbed in nature's beauty. I try to paint a feeling rather than detailed objects.
The past few years has been about my style which i think is unique to me and one which i will still look to improve the more i paint. I am happy with some of my work which is why i am displaying it on this website.
