Jesse Diss started his artistic life as an animator and cartoonist, graduating later to surrealist painting in acrylics and oil.
His first exhibitions in London were very well received, but Jesse was also putting effort his attentions into his rock band
Dakota 45 at this time, releasing two albums to critical acclaim.
He then studied life drawing, and painting with oil and later, sculpture, fashion, photography and print.
All these influences are clearly visible in his work and he now works primarily in the Pop Art medium. Through a fusion of all his influences - Pop Art, rock music, cartoons, fashion and photography - he produces work which goes much further than just Pop Art. We call it Rock'n'Roll Art.
